Frequently Asked Questions
Here is some of the frequently asked questions that people have about the Jump-N-Carry JNC950 2000 Jump Starter.
I would like to know if it comes with an AC adapter or how does this charge?
Very simple, it comes with a A/C plug that plugs in the front of the battery pack and never have to worry about the charge status. i use mine daily so I leave it plugged in all the time and it has never hurt the battery pack and over the last ten years I am on my third one which is not bad compared to the daily use.
What is the real difference between this model and Clore’s JNCXF?
I see this weighs 34 lbs shipping weight versus ~18 on the JNCXF (assuming I’m looking at the one you are which goes for ~$250), so this likely has a lot bigger battery. Otherwise the way it plugs in may be slightly different (but I see no other features one has versus the other).
I was just wondering what maintenance, if any, this requires. Do you just “set it and forget it”? Do you just leave it plugged in all the time?
It should handle being plugged in all of the time however I don’t do that with mine I only charge it after about 6 or 7 jump start
